Monday 14th October

Welcome to this week's Blog Spot. Please remember that we will test spellings every Friday. Please remember that project homework is due this week and we will be presenting them to the rest of the class.

RE
This week we will be continuing with our  topic - CALLED. We will be thinking about and learning about the seven sacraments and will be learning all about the sacrament of confirmation.

ENGLISH
This week we will be continuing with activities on Charlotte's web and activities relating to homophones . We will be learning all about where, wear and were. We will be learning all about apostrophes and contractions such as can’t, won’t and didn’t etc.

This week we will be using a number line to add two digit numbers together and will be moving onto adding larger numbers too.

This week the children will be learning all about subtraction using columns They will be using number lines to calculate subtractions too, The children will be reviewing all vocabulary to do with subtraction.

TOPIC
THE CIVIL WAR
This week the children will have the opportunity to present their project homework on the civil war. The children will receive a certificate for their homework. We are looking forward to all their efforts of the last four weeks.
