Welcome to our blog spot this week. January is nearly over and we are fast approaching Spring!!!
HOMEWORK
Please remember that homework has been sent out every week and will be sent out for the next three weeks. There is on line homework for all the groups using MY MATHS. The project homework is due in the last week of term. Lots of children have already started to plan and work on their work. Please see details below.
Project homework
The children produced excellent project homework last term and they presented their work in lots of ways. It was wonderful to see how much everyone had enjoyed their work.
This half term’s topic is
What’s on the menu?
The topic is about the history of food, food around the world, how food is produced and health and diet.
Examples of work: power points, large posters, models, map work, written reports, songs, videos, menus, etc.
Your child will be expected to give a short presentation to the rest of the class to show their finished product, during the last week: February 10th to 14th February.
Good luck and once again we are really looking forward to the wonderful creations and great ideas.
Please note this is to replace the sentence homework. However, there are a few children who are not completing their homework and teachers may ask them to do sentences homework instead.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to come in and see one of the three and four team.
