Monday 2nd December

Welcome to our blog spot.
Homework is due in at the end of the week thank you as normal.
We are looking forward to seeing the presentations of Topic homework in the last week. Please see details below on previous blogs.
Please remember that the Christmas Fair is on Friday after school. It is another own clothes day and the children are asked to bring in prizes for the tombola.

This week we will be spending a lot of time learning our Christmas play and all the songs. Last week you should have received a letter about their costume for the play. Any problems do not hesitate to pop into see one of the team. Tickets will be sent out this week Please keep them safe as we cannot provide more because of the number of people allowed and the fire regulations.

RE
This week we will continuing with our topic of GIFT. We will be starting to think about Advent and preparations for Christmas.

ENGLISH
This week we will be writing about settings for stories and playscripts.  We will be focusing on adverbs, adjective and connectives in our writing. We will be thinking about vocabulary linked to different settings.

This week we will be learning all about MONEY.
We will be counting up coins and notes. We will be exchanging coins into pounds and pounds into coins.

We will also be starting to review topics as there will be tests next week.
MRS SARSFIELD
This week the children will be learning all about word problems. They will be solving word problems that are linked to the four rules of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.  The children will be using rucsac.
