Reading work shops
Reading workshops are taking place this Monday at 3.30 and 6.00. Everybody is welcome to learn more about reading with your child. We are very grateful for Mrs Millington for arranging these workshops. On Thursday the children will be allowed to dress up as a character of a book to celebrate WORLD BOOK DAY.

Please remember that swimming is on for the next nine weeks on Tuesday afternoon.
The Year 4 will arrive back at about 3.30pm. Please remember all uniform needs to be named and medical forms need returning too. No jewellery is permitted so earrings MUST be removed during swimming. Thank you for your help on this matter.

Please make sure that PE kits are back in school as we were unable to do it last week as so many children had not brought their kits in.

Water Project homework
Welcome back and I hope the children are getting excited about what their new topic will be about.
This half term’s topic is WATER ON TAP.
The topic is about the water and could include anything to do with water such as rivers, seas, food, drinks, floods, adverse weather conditions, weather forecasts etc.

Examples of work:  A long story with chapters (chapters, pictures linked to the topic of water such as a flood, lost at sea etc.) power points, large posters, models, map work, written reports, weather forecast , songs, videos, news  etc.
Your child will be expected to give a short presentation/reading their story to the rest of the class to show their finished product, during the last week:
7th to 11th April.
Good luck and once again we are really looking forward to the wonderful creations and great ideas.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to come in and see one of the three and four team. This homework will be available to view on our blog spot at: http://yearthreeandfourstvincents.blogspot.ie/

Have a good week everyone. The three and four team.
