Welcome
to this week’s blogspot. The children should have come home with new spellings
stuck in their diary. They will be tested on them next Friday. Also the
children should have brought the next homework project home which is on ADVENTURERS
AND EXPLORERS.
See below on previous blog. The homework can be brought in the
week of Monday
19th of May to 23rd May or the week after the half term
holidays as this half term is so short.
Please remember that sacramental
preparation is on on WEDNESDAY NIGHT and the
children need to bring rosary beads. Thank you.
Test week – next week
the children will be having tests in Maths, Reading and Writing.
RE New Life
Come and see
In RE this week the children will be learning all about Paul.
They will learn about his life before and after he met Jesus. They will learn
all about Paul’s life and how he travelled around spreading God’s word.
ENGLISH
This week the year three will be doing lots of activities
related to improving their writing.
We will be focusing on narrative writing and looking at level four
and level five pieces of writing.
The children will be practising their writing and self checking
and per checking their pieces of writing.
The children will also be answering a range of comprehension
questions that have beem compiled by the teachers.

This week the math’s groups will be reviewing lots of different topics as next week is the end of year tests. We
will be completing mini tests on the A3 revision homework sheet that was sent
home the week before last.

TOPIC
This week we will continue studying two Spanish artists called Gaudi and Picasso. The children will be
looking at different pieces of work and try to represent their own
interpretation of the artist’s work with different media available.
