Welcome to this week’s blog spot. We hope the children had a good four days back.

On Friday this week the children are showing an assembly on one of our

International Primary Curriculum topics – Bright Sparks. Parents are every welcome to attend at 9. 00 am.

There is homework this week due in on Thursday. The homework is on two sheets. Year 4 will not receive any more homework at the end of this week because of Kingswood. Another letter about Kingswod will be sent home this week. Also there is a HolyCommunion meeting at 6.30pm at St Josephs for Year 4.

Mrs Sarsfield’s Group

In Mrs Sarsfield’s group will be learning about angles and turns. They will be reviewing the names of all the angles and know what a full, half and quarter turns are.

LITERACY

This week we will be learning all about prefixes and suffixes. We will also be editing the last piece of writing we did on explanations.

RE

We are continuing with our new topic energy. We will be learning about fire and wind power. We will also be learning about The ascension – When Jesus goes back to his Father but promises to send the Holy Spirit.

TOPIC

This week we will be practising for our assembly on Bright Sparks on Friday.

SPANISH

In Spanish we will be reviewing FOOD.

We will be reviewing food vocabulary and how to say what they like to eat. We will be using the following web sites too.
