Welcome to our blog. Mrs Harding’s class did really well at the assembly last week. Well done children.

Please remember that the children will need for the trip:

Warm coat

Gloves
Back pack.
No more than six pounds for the shop.
Walking shoes or trainers.

We will arrive back at 3.30pm traffic permitting.

Homework was sent out last week again and we appreciate it if it is brought back on Thursday so it can be marked.

ENGLISH
This week we will be learning more about adverbs and homophones. We will also be writing an account of our trip to the mines.
We will also be completing a dictation when the children write down what is being said to them.

MATHS Mrs Harding/ Mrs Morgan

The children will be working on addition and subtraction. They will also be learning time facts.
They will be tested on their times tables on Thursday and we are concentrating on the eight timetables.

RE Promises

The children will be thinking about promises we make, breaking promises and also groups and clubs when we make promises.

Topic

The children will be learning about quarrying and mining. They will be creating an information sheet on mining using the knowledge form their trip.
