Monday 23rd June

Welcome to our blog spot this week. Please remember that we have set lots of activities on MY MATHS.

SPANISH WEEK

This week it is SPANISH WEEK.
The children will be making tortillas and experiencing Flamenco dancing on Friday. The children may come dressed up on Friday in traditional Spanish dress or wearing red and yellow. We hope to have a great week and be practising lots of Spanish as well as learning more about Spanish culture.

Please make sure that your child has their PE kit in school . We will be practising for Sport’s day on the 11th of July in the coming weeks so the children need to have suntan lotion, hats and water bottles as the weather has actually improved. Yippee!!

Well done to the year four who made their Holy Communion and Confirmation on Thursday night. The behaviour of the children was excellent. On Friday the children enjoyed their party and receiving their certificates in a special whole school assembly when they sat at the front of the hall dressed in their smart, beautiful clothes.

RE Building Bridges
We will be continuing the topic BUILDING BRIDGES. We will be thinking about how people build bridges and why. We will also be thinking about relationships and friendships. We will also be listening to the story of the lost sheep and considering how people and children can become lost sheep.
Have a great week everyone.

The 3 and 4 team.
