Welcome to the final term. I am sure the children are looking forward to coming back to school. Hopefully the weather will be kinder to us and we can get outside more for PE lessons.

Please make sure that your child has their PE kit in school from Monday as we do  PE straight away. We will be practising for Sport’s day on the 1^st of July in the coming weeks so the children need to have suntan lotion, hats and water bottles in the hope the weather improves!!

This week we will be reviewing subtraction. We have noticed from the recent exams that the children are still struggling a little bit with subtraction questions.

Therefore we will be reviewing :

ü  the mathematical vocabulary linked to subtraction.

ü  use columns to subtract.

ü  exchange a ten to subtract.

ü  can use a number line to find the difference.

We will be learning about hyphenated words, words ending in tion and diary writing too.

RE New life

This week we will be finishing the topic new life and also be completing the assessment. We wil be learning all about Paul, his travels and what he achieved. We will also be thinking about the power of the Holy Spirit.
